Willow Bird Feeder Workshop

Join Louise Arthur, a Hampshire basket maker, to create naturally stylish, biodegradable feeders to hang in the garden for wild birds. Using UK grown willow you will weave a hanging cone for fat balls or to fill with nesting materials in early spring.

No previous experience necessary although some manual dexterity and patience will be required. You can make as many bird feeders as you like – most people have time to make two. All material and tools will be provided.

Bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old trousers and sensible footwear.

This workshop is suitable for adults only.

The workshop is from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are £45 including refreshments, and you are welcome to visit the gardens free of charge after the course.
