This is the last in the series of workshops from basketmaker Louise Arthur of Rough Around the Hedges. ‘Basket Bird Feeders’ are perfect for offering fat balls to your garden birds this autumn. They can also be used in the kitchen to dry and store onions. They offer several different weaving techniques in a project achievable for most beginners.
All materials, tools and guidance will be provided. You will take away one or two handmade items.
Suitable for beginners with strong manual dexterity and patience.
Bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old trousers and sensible footwear.
This workshop is suitable for adults only.
The workshop is from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are £45 including refreshments, and you are welcome to visit the gardens free of charge after the workshop.
