The New Forest Florilegium and Friends (previously New Forest Botanical Painting Archive) are returning for a second show of their work, archiving some of the many unusual species found in the New Forest. The artists will be displaying some of the new watercolours they’ve completed this year alongside other work including charcoal and acrylic landscapes and still life paintings.
This group has come together as artists experienced in botanical painting who are working towards an archive, focussing on the plants that make the forest so unique and often those which are most affected by climate change.
